Objectives covered in SYBL Preseason Skill Development Clinics Include:

• Pitching Training: Biomechanically based pitching instruction with heightened focus on arm health, developing a smooth delivery, and throwing strikes consistently;

• Defensive Skills: Building a strong foundation for defensive skills – including proper footwork, glove position, and throwing techniques;

• Catching: Building a strong foundation for the catching position – with a particular emphasis on balance base stances, body control, correct footwork, glove action, blocking, and quickly transferring the ball from glove to hand.
